Inspiring People

Inspiring PeopleThere were six of us on that mountain top. Breathing hard in the frigid winter winds. Talking, joking, and laughing.

I looked from face to face, and though I could not feel my nose or my fingers, my heart and soul were warm with love and appreciation.

I met these people when I was broken, wide-eyed, searching for something more.

I stumbled upon them in the wilderness.

People who were confident.

People who were creative and intelligent.

People who never stopped searching for answers.

People who never grew weary of adventure.

I watched them. I listened to their stories. I laughed with them, learned from them, and grew inspired by them.

They became my People.

The People who support me no matter what.

The People who give me feedback to help me grow.

The People who care about me unconditionally.

I fell in love. I fell in love with the people of the wilderness.

Now, years later, as we stood upon that mountain top, I am a different person. I am a stronger person. A more confident person. And I thank the People that have stood upon mountains with me, near and far.

They are my support system.

They are what keep me warm on these winter days.

*This post is dedicated to all the “wilderness people” who have made such a positive impact on my life. Much love and thanks.Inspiring People
