Changing Winds: A Poem

Changing Winds

The wind is blowing

Through my lungs,

Casting my hair into my eyes.

I breathe in the changing winds;

Breathing in the changing times.

I wonder where my tears have gone.

Have they been caught in the wind?

I wonder where my sorrow has gone.

Has it been cast out by the wind?

As it blows across my skin,

Through my lungs.

Changing all along.

The changing winds,

Changing the times.
